About HVACModels

An independent reference for US heat pump, furnace, boiler, geothermal and commercial HVAC model numbers, rated configurations and their original data sources.

What the site does

The catalog organizes public ENERGY STAR records into brand, model and configuration pages. Its purpose is to make a particular rating traceable to a particular system. It is not an equipment retailer, manufacturer, certification body or installation service.

Coverage is the US-market subset of the five datasets listed on our sources page. Equipment missing from those datasets will not appear here. A listing does not establish that a model is still sold.

Editorial approach

Source model numbers and component strings are preserved. Unknown specifications stay unknown. We do not publish invented reviews, ownership experiences, star ratings, prices or estimated model variants. Explanatory notes describe how to use this reference; they do not replace a manufacturer’s instructions.

Corrections

For a possible data error, keep the model URL, EPA record ID, field name and a link to the manufacturer or original source. Each configuration page links to the exact EPA record so you can distinguish an upstream value from our presentation of it.

Contact the site administration to submit a correction or report a website issue.

Changes from refreshed source records preserve the previous payload in our import history. The source-check date is shown separately from a change to a specification.

Independence

HVACModels is not affiliated with EPA, DOE, AHRI or the brands in the catalog. Brand names and model numbers identify the equipment described by the original source.
